The Basic Flowchart is an effective diagram for documenting work flow and procedures, analyzing processes, directing decision-making, and more.
1.) On the Standard toolbar, click the New drop-down button.
2.) In the drop-down list, point to the Flowchart command, and then click the Basic Flowchart command.

The flowchart is now ready to receive shapes and formatting.

1.) Click the Tools Menu, click the Change Working Times command.
2.) In the Change Working Time dialog box, click on the Exceptions or Work Weeks tab.
3.) On the appropriate tab, make the necessary changes to the resource calendar, and then click the OK button.

1.) In the Resource Sheet view, click the Base Calendar field for the desired resource.
2.) Select the appropriate calendar from the list box.

Tab pages make it easy to organize lengthy forms into managable, attractive segments. Remember, to display properties: select the item and click the Property Sheet button in the Tools gallery, on the Design tab.
1.) Display the Properties for the Form.
2.) Click the Data tab.
3.) Click the Record Source drop down list, and click the appropriate table or query.
4.) in the Controls gallery, click the Tab Control button.
5.) Click in the Detail section and click and drag the Tab Control to the appropriate size.
6.)In the Properties dialog box, for the Page 1 tab, click the Other tab. In the Name box, key a name.
7.) Repeat steps 5 through 7 for remaining tabs as needed.

How to Find and Replace Text in a Presentation
Finding Text
1.) On the Home tab, click the Find button.
2.) In the Find dialog box, in the Find What text box, enter the text to find.
3.) Click the Find Next Button.
4.) To continue searching, click the Find Next button until you find the desired text.
Replacing Text
1.) On the Home tab, click the Replace button.
2.) In Replace dialog box, in the Find What text box, enter the text you want to replace.
3.) In the Replace With text box, enter the new next.
4.) Click the Find Next button.
5.) If you wish to replace the highlighted text, click the Replace button.
6.) Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all items have been replaced.

This handy feature gives you control of what data displays on the printed page. In this way, you can create a single chart for use with multiple audiences.
1.) Click the chart.
2.) On the Design tab, in the Data gallery, click the Edit Data button.
3.) In the Excel window, right-click the heading of the row or column to hide, and then click the Hide option on the shortcut menu.
4.) Click the Save button and then click the Close button.
